I. Role Overview

The Accountant at MKYCOMM is the Financial Guardian. Your mission is to maintain the absolute integrity of our financial ecosystem while supporting an aggressive growth trajectory. You are responsible for the Safety of our capital through rigorous tax and bank management and the Progress of our client results through flawless media budget execution. Operating within Wave Finance and ClickUp, you provide the "Real Live Data" that ensures our operations remain sustainable and transparent.

 

II. The Six Pillars of Responsibility

1. Chartered Accounting & Tax Management

  • Liaison Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for the external Chartered Accountant. You are responsible for the "Deep" coordination of all year-end filings and audits.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure 100% of tax submissions are completed accurately and on time. You own the responsibility for all government-related payments, ensuring the agency remains in good standing.
  • Regulatory Accuracy: Keep the agency updated on any changes in tax law or financial regulations that impact our global operations.

 

2. Media Budget & Supplier Governance

  • Media Partner Payments: Take full responsibility for managing client media budgets. You ensure that all partners (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.) are paid on time to prevent any disruption in client "Progress."
  • Supplier Relations: Maintain a clean, premium track record with every media supplier. You are the guardian of our creditworthiness and reputation in the media market.
  • Spend Transparency: Ensure 100% transparency with clients regarding their media spend. You provide clear, verified reports of payments made on their behalf.

 

3. Banking Relations & Treasury

  • Relationship Management: Lead all communications with our banking partners. You are responsible for the success and health of these institutional relationships.
  • Transaction Mastery: Execute all bank transfers, international payments, and facilities management with 100% precision.
  • Liquidity Monitoring: Monitor daily balances and credit facilities to ensure the agency has the necessary "Safety" to meet its high-velocity obligations.

 

4. Full Procurement & Financial Gatekeeping

  • Vetting & Processing: Act as the final financial filter for all team procurement requests vetted by the HR Manager.
  • Wave Finance Ownership: Maintain the general ledger in Wave Finance with "Deliberate" accuracy, ensuring every transaction is categorized and reconciled daily.

 

5. Global Payroll & Human Capital Finance

  • Payroll Execution: Partner with the HR Manager to execute global payroll. You ensure every team member—regardless of location—is paid accurately and on time via the most efficient channels.

 

6. Cash Flow & Reporting

  • AR/AP Management: Own the Accounts Receivable (Client Invoicing) and Accounts Payable (Agency Bills) cycles.
  • Real-Time Reporting: Utilize ClickUp to track financial tasks and provide the MD with instant visibility into the agency’s financial health.

 

III. Qualifications

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a digital agency or media-focused environment.
  • Software Mastery: Expert-level command of Wave Finance (or equivalent cloud accounting tools).
  • Operational Tooling: Advanced proficiency in ClickUp for task management and financial workflow tracking.
  • Academic Background: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Compliance Integrity: Zero late tax submissions or government payment penalties.

  • Media Uptime: 100% on-time payments to media partners, resulting in zero account suspensions or credit issues.
  • Bank Relation Health: Successful execution of all transfers and facility renewals with zero operational delays.
  • Procurement Velocity: Processing vetted team requests from the HR Manager within a 48-hour window.
  • Audit Readiness: 100% accuracy in the Wave Finance ledger, ensuring the Chartered Accountant can complete reviews with zero "re-work." 
  • Documentation: All documents are physically and electronically documented in all aspects of transactions.
